Becoming Mrs.A : Finding a Wedding Planner

Hi guys,

Luckily for me I am surrounded by event planners, so the problem wasn't finding one, it was more about choosing one.


All 4 wedding planner friends are on my bbm so you can imagine their joy when I first got engaged, sadly I had to pick but guess what? I picked 2, lol. I know right? Who uses 2 wedding planners?

I picked my 2 sweethearts @rubiesnemerald and @weloveeventsng

One for engagement and the other for the white wedding.
Now the next task was convincing my mom that I needed an event planner.

My mom is one of those cool shoki-dancing moms so I automatically thought she would understand the concept of using an event planner, but I was super shocked when she accused me of not trusting her enough to handle my wedding (she Looooves parties). My mom can have a party just because it is the 17th Sunday of the year.
Well it took a few days but she came around because I had to say "Mommy you are the Chief Planner they are just here to make it easier for you"...... so in essence I now have 3 wedding Planners.

One of my Planner's wedding is just 2 months before mine so we are booking everything together and getting awesome deals!! (Lol, even paid for the hall 11 months early).
